Fulbright
(Fully funded Scholarship USA)

Introduction
The Fulbright Master's and PhD Program, generously supported by the United States Department of State, offers assistance for graduate studies in the U.S., encompassing tuition, textbooks, airfare, living stipend, and health insurance. USEFP is here to guide you through the visa process.

If you're considering the Master's program, having a four-year Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination is what we're looking for. We welcome recent graduates, with the exception of MBA and Public Policy/Administration applicants who should ideally have 2 years of work experience.

For those eyeing the PhD program, a Master's, M.Phil, or equivalent degree with relevant work experience is required. Almost all academic disciplines are open for consideration, barring clinical medicine. Taking the GRE General is mandatory, with a minimum score of 145 in each section. Proficiency in English is a must, and shortlisted candidates will need to take the Duolingo Test of English.

Upon selection, all successful candidates will enter into a commitment with USEFP. PhD candidates, in addition, will sign a bond with HEC, pledging to return to Pakistan post the U.S. program and contribute to the country for a duration equivalent to the scholarship period. This commitment is redeemable year-for-year, ensuring that as long as the service requirement is met, there is no financial obligation.

Cycle:
Applications are welcome annually from November, with the submission deadline typically falling in February. The review and interview process spans from November to August, with results disclosed in mid-September. Following selection, the subsequent phases of university submission and placement persist until February, while visa interviews are scheduled up until June. Departures to the U.S. commence from July onward, contingent upon the reporting dates set by the respective universities.
