Child Student Visa:
If your age is from 4 to 17 years and wants to study in the UK independent school, you can apply for a child student visa. For the eligibility of child student visa, First, you must have a conditional offer letter from a course at the independent school. You must be evidence that you have enough money to support yourself in the UK and pay for your course.
You must have a permission letter from your guardian or parents to study in the UK. This will be presented when you apply. If you are already above 18 years of age, you can apply for a Student Visa. This visa is previously known as the Tier 4 (Child) student Visa. If you are applied from outside the UK, then you must apply before your course is started (6 months). The decision on this application will be taken 3 months.
If you are applied inside the UK, you must apply before 3 months. Your stay in the UK depends on your age and course but you can travel to the UK 1 month before the start of your study in the College. You have the facility to extend and switch the Visa to Student Visa. You can apply online within and outside the UK. Application fee and health surcharger will be applicable in this Visa. If you are 16 or above, you are allowed to work up to 10 hours a week, full time during vacations.
